Bertoni DIDN'T close, it just relocated. We eat at Bertoni on Pass-A-Grille Beach almost weekly. There chef did pass away last year, but his wife still owns the restaurant, and his Sous Chef has taken his place in the kitchen. The food is just as good, if not better than it was on 2nd Street and the new restaurant is much smaller and seems more upscale and customer focused. They have outdoor seating and we love bringing out of town guests there for sunset. Maybe they should advertise more to let old customers know where they are, but they always seem pretty busy.- Is follow up to post by bighowe75 ...
